Get to Know Your Instructor:

Kara Delfanti grew up in Lake Placid, NY, a town steeped in Olympic history and surrounded by the Adirondack mountains. This environment fostered a profound love of nature, the outdoors, and athletic competition. Kara moved west to advance her competitive mogul skiing career where she thrived in the high peaks of the rockies. Experiences with injury and recovery as an athlete set her on a path toward becoming a physical therapist. Today, Kara owns Cascade Physical Therapy, where she specializes in helping both active and aging individuals to overcome injuries, manage chronic pain, and elevate their athletic performance. Her approach is deeply rooted in one-on-one, whole body care, and is dedicated to uncovering the underlying causes of symptoms. Kara employs a diverse array of manual techniques and movement optimization to keep patients moving their best.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Kara finds serenity and joy in the mountains. Whether she is alpine or nordic skiing, mountain biking, running or hiking, she loves to share these mountain adventures with her husband and golden retriever, Hank. She also enjoys taking time for gardening and artistic endeavors.
